The Monks of Newark Abbey together with the Alumni, the Students, and the Faculty and Staff of Saint Benedict's Prep School, wish to express their sympathy to the family of the late John R. Tobey, M.D. '32, whose name has been added to the list of our extended family for whom we pray daily in the Abbey Church at Mass and the Divine Office.

Dr. Tobey was one of the best doctors that I have had the priviledge of knowing. He was always professional and nurturing. We need more doctors like this wonderful man because he really cared about his patients.
My prayers and sympathies are with his sons and their families.
