I saw the notice in today's paper, July 22, of Bette's passing. We met occasionally along life's path, starting with being in the same grade at Our Lady of Sorrows in South Orange in the mid-1940s. As I recall Bette attended Out Lady of the Valley while I went to the public high school in town. Then we were in the Class of 1951 at Chestnut Hill. Three years later Bette was a teacher in the American Schools system in Germany while I was in Special Services. We did meet several times while overseas. The last time I saw Bette was at our 50th Class Reunion at Chestnut Hill. The years seem to race by. My condolences to Peter and his family on the loss of a lovely person.

Bette was my dear friend for 45 years. She will be so missed.

We will miss you Bette, you have been a good friend for many years.
What good times we have had.

I was very sorry to hear from Marcia that Bette passed away. She was a good person, and I have many fond memories of her from my youth. I wish I could give my condolences in person, but obligations in Connecticut prevent me from being there. Nevertheless please accept my sympathies and my best wishes to you and your entire family during this sad time.
